Measure the body
A short camera scan estimates heart rate, HRV and breathing rate, with signal-quality gates and personal scan history.

Pre-seed · Camera-based health intelligence
moonScan turns an ordinary front-facing camera into a contactless health sensor. A 30 to 90 second face scan already estimates heart rate, HRV and breathing rate. No wearable, no contact, no extra hardware.
Estimates depend on signal quality. moonScan provides wellness insights and is not a medical device.
01 /Proof
An unusually concrete starting position for a deep-technology company.
Internal analysis of 121 external beta scans from approximately 60 users. 96% of heart-rate estimates were within ±5 bpm of the reference. This is beta performance evidence, not clinical validation, and results depend on sufficient signal quality.
02 /The insight
Wearables proved people want to understand their bodies. They also added friction: another device to buy, charge, wear and replace.
Cameras reverse that model. The sensor is already built into billions of phones, laptops, tablets, cars and mirrors. Software can activate it.
Face ID made the camera an identity interface. moonScan is turning it into a health interface.
Four overlapping categories, all compounding.
External forecasts from Grand View Research, McKinsey and IDC. Layers overlap and are not additive. Bar lengths compare forecast size across layers. These are market forecasts, not moonScan revenue projections.
03 /Product progression
The same camera signal becomes more valuable as it becomes more personal and more widely embedded.

04 /Why moonScan
moonScan has the beginnings of both the technology and the audience.
37,000+ existing customers and an owned audience give moonScan a warm launch surface most deep-technology teams never have.
Camera vitals fail on motion, lighting and skin-tone variation. moonScan is building the quality and production-evidence infrastructure that problem requires.
More than five early SDK and integration signals across fitness, cognitive health, smart mirrors and digital care, before a formal SDK launch.
The founders grew their previous consumer business from roughly $500 to $470,000 in 10 months and $2.3M+ in lifetime sales.
05 /Business model
Consumer
A freemium health check-in for anyone with a camera. Paid plans can unlock deeper HRV interpretation, recovery intelligence and personal trends.
Platform
The same engine licensed through an SDK to telehealth, fitness, employee-health and connected-device partners. Software activates hardware that is already deployed.
Consumer usage builds the experience and the evidence. SDK distribution expands the reach.
06 /Founder

moonScan began after Viktor's fiancée, Sabina, experienced a severe inflammatory health attack. It exposed the gap between feeling healthy and understanding what is changing inside the body.
Viktor is a former elite tennis player, ranked number one in Slovakia under 14 with a junior win over Jannik Sinner. He built a marketing agency at 19 and grew moonlight's consumer business from roughly $500 to $470,000 in 10 months. He builds moonScan with co-founder and CTO Erik Bánczi, supported by computer-vision, machine-learning and health-science experts.
The mission is personal. The execution history is already visible.
07 /Backing
Investors include Jason Butcher, an investor in Figure AI, and Mike Sherrill, a YC alumnus. More than $110,000 is committed toward the current pre-seed round.

A $600,000 pre-seed on a $3 million post-money CLA, with more than $110,000 already committed by angels.
